The THLC sports club strives to promote and develop an interest in sports and physical activities among the students. The club focuses both on recreational and competitive activities. It conducts intramural events throughout the year and make sure the spirit of sportsmanship is upheld in these events. The club ensures the students get opportunities to identify and showcase their talents. And further to compete at all levels – from interschool to international level. Life skills development and personality building is the main objective of the Sports Club.
For this, the heritage club undertakes the study of historic sites, landscapes, structures, and objects. The club members help organize quizzes, debates, excursions to historical sites and other creative and innovative activities for the sole purpose of passing down those traditions and knowledge that will serve as a source for interpreting the past that influences our present and which will be of use for the future too.
The SDGs club has the purpose of creating awareness amongst students and the community about sustainable living and the necessity to be responsible towards our environment. It is done by adopting the 17 Sustainable Developmental Goals 2030 declared by the UN Assembly in 2015. The SDGs are directed towards creating a secure, healthy, cleaner and peaceful planet. The club aims at not only creating awareness but also at making a difference in the school, community & beyond through several programs, competitions, projects through national and international collaboration.
The purpose of the Cultural Club is to explore and experience our rich Indian culture which is vast and diverse thereby keeping it alive. It gives opportunities to students to understand culture in its different facets. The Cultural Club organizes various cultural events, activities and competitions through the year. Dance, storytelling, drama, skits, mimes, theatre, puppetry, singing, visual arts to explore the Folklore of our country as well as foreign nations is one of the objectives of the club.
THLC Coding club is a great platform for students to develop lateral thinking, computational thinking, problem solving and decision-making. The objective of the coding club is to nurture our students as innovative future-ready, tech-savvy, first principal thinkers with strong technology foundations who can embrace and contribute to a sustainable digital-physical future of humanity. The club encourages the young coders by providing hands-on technology experience, provides coding literature. It promotes a diverse learning community encouraging collaborative problem solving skills. The club also conducts coding competitions and robotics exhibitions to ignite the spirit of young coders.
