The arts program at THLC encompasses a variety of creative disciplines, including Visual arts, Dance, and Music (Instrumental – Keyboard and Guitar). The curriculum is designed to provide students with both technical skills and opportunities to explore their artistic interests. The Dance Curriculum at THLC prioritizes fostering creativity, enhancing physical fitness, promoting cultural awareness, and nurturing emotional expression among students. We also focus on building the foundation of dance in a fun, supportive, and exploratory environment.
Dance as a medium of non-verbal communication allows students to celebrate different festivals through dance and music. Through diverse dance forms and engaging activities, the school aims to inspire artistic exploration, build physical strength and coordination, deepen understanding and respect for cultural heritage, and empower students to express themselves confidently. By integrating movement, music, and storytelling, the curriculum offers a holistic approach to personal and social development, ensuring that every student thrives in a dynamic and inclusive learning environment.
At THLC, we offer students the opportunity to get trained in two of the most renowned Indian classical dance forms: Bharatanatyam and Kathak. Our goal is to immerse students in the beauty and grace of these classical dance styles, offering them a deeper appreciation of India’s artistic traditions while nurturing their artistic potential.
Through training in Bharatanatyam and Kathak, students will connect with the spiritual, cultural, and artistic essence of India while developing skills in rhythm, movement, storytelling, and performance.
